Social Media & Online Communication Policy

I value the use of social media as a way to share mental health education, sport psychology information, and resources with the community. To protect privacy, confidentiality, and the integrity of the professional relationship, the following guidelines apply to online interactions.

Professional Social Media Accounts

My professional social media accounts are used to share general information, educational content, and updates related to psychology, mental health, and performance. Following or engaging with my professional accounts does not establish a therapeutic relationship or replace professional services.

Please avoid sharing personal or confidential information through social media platforms, as these platforms are not designed for secure communication regarding psychological services.

Friending and Following

To maintain appropriate professional boundaries, I do not accept friend requests or follow requests from current or former clients on personal social media accounts.

Clients, athletes, coaches, and organizations are welcome to follow my professional social media accounts for educational content. However, online connections do not represent an endorsement, therapeutic relationship, or professional affiliation.

Interacting Online

I welcome engagement with educational content through professional social media platforms. However, I do not discuss personal concerns, clinical matters, or individual performance challenges through comments, direct messages, or other public online interactions.

If you are seeking psychological services or wish to discuss your specific situation, please contact me through the secure communication methods provided on this website.

Search Engines and Online Information

To respect privacy and professional boundaries, I do not search for clients, athletes, or organizations online. Information found through internet searches or social media is not considered part of the professional relationship unless it is discussed directly and is clinically relevant.

Reviews and Testimonials

Due to ethical considerations and the importance of protecting confidentiality, I do not request testimonials or reviews from current or former clients.

If an individual chooses to share a public review independently, I cannot confirm or deny whether someone is or has been a client. I appreciate feedback and remain committed to providing ethical, professional, and high-quality psychological services.
